Katherine (Kit) Brown-Hoekstra is an award-winning consultant in technical communication and localization. As Principal of Comgenesis, LLC, Kit provides consulting and training on a variety of topics in technical communication and localization, and is an experienced conference speaker and facilitator. She currently explores conscious leadership and appreciative inquiry as a member of the XCHANGE community. She is an STC Fellow and former Society president, coauthored a book on managing virtual teams in 2007, and in 2017, edited The Language of Localization. Her blog is www.pangaeapapers.com.
